In the Russian Federation will develop a concept for the connection of space with a drone control system

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov instructed ANO NTI Platform to develop by the end of the year a concept for regulating the drone control model, involving, among other things, near outer space and the earth’s troposphere. In 2024, it is planned to develop a law. According to the First Deputy Prime Minister, this will create a “solid foundation” for regulation.

“It is necessary to develop a concept of regulation that would describe this situation. Because here a complex configuration of various participants arises, which today are regulated by their own laws – aviation, space activities – everyone has their own interests, ”said Mr. Belousov during an inspection of the exhibition of the Archipelago-2023 project and educational intensive. At the beginning of July, Mr. Belousov instructed regional authorities to develop programs for the development of unmanned aerial systems. Expectedthat by the end of the year a program to legalize the use of drones will be created. The Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency are preparing to bring drones out of the gray zone.
