According to the department, a protocol was drawn up against Orange Business Services under Part 2 of Art. 13.2.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (non-fulfillment by the telecom operator of the obligation to terminate the provision of communication services and (or) traffic transmission services). For legal entities under this article, a fine of 600 thousand from 1 million rubles is provided. The decision to impose a fine was made by the Supreme Court. Other details are not given.
In December 2021, President Vladimir Putin signed into law a law on fines for telecom operators for skipping replacement numbers. The fine for officials is from 30 thousand to 100 thousand rubles, for individual entrepreneurs – from 200 thousand to 800 thousand rubles. In Roskomnadzor planned develop a technology that will make it impossible to use replacement numbers. The Ministry of Digital Transformation proposed to increase from six months to a year the period for storing information about calls from replacement numbers.
