In Moscow, said goodbye to director Vadim Abdrashitov

At the Central House of Cinematographers in Moscow, a farewell ceremony was held for director Vadim Abdrashitov. According to a TASS correspondent, about 200 people came to say goodbye to the director. President Vladimir Putin sent a farewell wreath to the ceremony.
Vadim Abdrashitov died 12th of February. He was 78 years old. He was the director of the films “Stop Potapov!”, “A Word for Protection”, “The Train Stopped”, “Fox Hunt”, “Parade of Planets”, “Plumbum, or a Dangerous Game”, “Servant”, “Magnetic Storms”, ” Dancer time. For a long time, Vadim Abdrashitov worked in tandem with screenwriter Alexander Mindadze.
The last film by Vadim Abdrashitov – “Magnetic Storms” – was released in 2003. After that, he focused on teaching. Vadim Abdrashitov directed the Feature Film Directing Workshop at VGIK.
