In Iraq, together with Gazprom, they plan to increase the volume of oil production at the Badra field. This was announced by the director of the department in the Ministry of Oil of Iraq Ali Alvard.
“This is an old contract, Gazprom Neft continues to work under this contract. There are plans to increase oil production at this field,” Ali Alvard told RIA Novosti.
Gazprom Neft is developing fields in Iraq at the Badra, Garmian and Shakal projects. Formerly in Iraq declaredthat they are going to increase oil production to 8 million barrels per day by 2027.
