The display on the Twitter microblogging network of the post of Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, in which he stated that “no one needs Ukraine” and predicted the destruction of this country, is limited to users in Germany and Poland.
“The tweet is hidden in Germany, Poland, according to local law,” the message circulated by the social network says.
Dmitry Medvedev’s assistant Oleg Osipov in a comment “RIA News” stated that “it will not remain unanswered.”
The restrictions included a tweet published on April 8 by the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia under the heading “Why Ukraine will disappear? Because no one needs it,” the text is further divided into six paragraphs, in which Mr. Medvedev argues why Europe, the United States, Africa and Latin America, Asia, as well as Russia and the Ukrainian citizens themselves “do not need” the Ukrainian state. In this regard, Dmitry Medvedev believes that Ukraine “will inevitably disappear” and cease to exist as an independent state.
Some social network users called on Twitter owner Elon Musk to delete Dmitry Medvedev’s tweet. He refused, explaining that “the readers themselves should decide”, and all the news, without exception, “to one degree or another is propaganda.”
