In December 2023, the volume of loans issued to individuals increased by 1.42% compared to November, that is, by 20 billion rubles, according to data from the analytical agency Frank RG. The volume of lending amounted to RUB 1,492.2 billion. – 3.9% more than in December 2022.
Frank RG notes that a decrease in the volume of loans was recorded only in the segment of non-targeted lending. The largest increase over the month was recorded in the mortgage segment (+7.2%), the smallest in the POS loans segment (+1.3%).
According to the agency, with an increase of 7.2%, the volume of mortgage loans issued amounted to 793.7 billion rubles. The average loan size was RUB 4.28 million. In total, in 2023, such loans amounted to 7.9 trillion rubles. – 61.98% more than in 2022.
In the POS loan segment, the volume of issuances in December reached RUB 50.1 billion. Compared to December 2022, the figure increased by 6.8%. At the end of 2023, the volume of issuances in this segment increased to 497.2 billion rubles. – 41.6% more than in 2022.
In all segments, output for 2023 exceeded output in 2022 by more than 45%. Cash issuances in December decreased by 22.4% compared to 2022, notes Frank RG.
