A four-day supply of diesel fuel has been created in Crimea, said the head of the region, Sergei Aksenov. According to him, by this evening it will arrive at all gas stations in the republic.
“Our main task now is to support agricultural producers in order to reduce the likelihood of fuel shortages during field work,” Mr. Aksenov wrote in Telegram channel.
He also said that the authorities of the Republic of Kazakhstan have sent a number of proposals to the Russian government to regulate the fuel pricing process.
As Kommersant was told by the government of Sevastopol, there is no shortage of gasoline in the city. The city authorities promise to solve the problems with the shortage of diesel fuel by the end of today.
City Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev also instructed to organize inspections of rising prices at gas stations and to report any violations identified to the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
Let us remind you that the shortage of diesel fuel and some brands of gasoline, according to local officials, arose due to the delay of trains carrying petroleum products.
Earlier, the authorities of Sevastopol appealed to the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation with a request to increase the capacity of the ferry crossing and attract private vessels for timely delivery of fuel to the peninsula.
