Vitamins and dietary supplements of the California Gold Nutrition trademark, which is the own brand of the iHerb marketplace, appeared on the Yandex Market website. The company suspended the supply of products to Russia after the start of the military operation. The publication drew attention to this “Pharmaceutical Bulletin”.
“Vitamins and dietary supplements of iHerb’s own brands really appeared on sale on the Yandex Market at affordable prices. All presented goods have certificates of state registration,” the press service of the Russian company told the publication. Yandex Market also reported that the brand’s products have already arrived at the warehouse of the Russian company in the Moscow region, and in the near future they will also go to warehouses in other regions of Russia.
In 2020, Roskomnadzor blocked the Russian-language iHerb mobile app. The department called the reason for the blocking the distribution of information prohibited in Russia on it. In 2021, for the same reason, the Russian-language site of the marketplace was blocked. After the start of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, iHerb suspended the supply of products to Russia “due to logistical problems.”
