Detective “Hypnotik” led the film distribution in the Russian Federation and the CIS on the weekend, collecting 65 million rubles. This follows from the data of the portal kinobusiness.com for the period 6–9 July.
The leaders of the film distribution were:
- “Hypnotik” – 65 million rubles;
- “Astral-5: Red Door” (without the Russian Federation and Belarus) – 34 million rubles;
- “Elementary” (without the Russian Federation and Belarus) – 20.1 million rubles. (over the entire period of rental – 143.2 million rubles);
- “Challenge” – 16.7 million rubles. (1.9 billion rubles);
- “Back to the dinosaurs” – 15.6 million rubles. (43 million rubles).
Hypnotic was released on July 6, starring Ben Affleck. In the center of the plot is the story of Texas police officer Danny Rourke, whose daughter Minnie was kidnapped right from the playground. The offender was caught, but stated that he did not remember anything, and the girl was never found, which is why the main character continues to believe that his daughter is alive.
