Hundreds of people queue outside the Bolshoi Theater for tickets to The Nutcracker

A large queue of people wishing to purchase tickets to the ballet “The Nutcracker” formed near the Bolshoi Theater. At midnight on November 4, people began to be given bracelets that secure their places in line; the official start of sales will take place at 10:00.
There are hundreds of people in line; they started coming to the theater on the morning of November 3. According to the TV channel “Moscow 24”in total there are approximately 300–400 people waiting for tickets, it is estimated “Izvestia”,—about 500.
As Moscow 24 reports, this year a restriction was introduced: using a bracelet you cannot buy a second ticket for another adult. You can only give the ticket to a relative, but this will require documentary proof of the relationship.
For performances on December 23–28, pre-sale of tickets starts at the theater box office on November 4, on the website on November 5, for December 29–31 on November 11 and 12, for January 2–7 on November 18 and 19, respectively.
