The Arbitration Court of the Moscow District upheld the decision of the previous instances on the claim of the owner of the Dream Island amusement park in the Nagatinskaya floodplain against H&M to terminate the lease agreement and pay compensation in the amount of 537.8 million rubles. This follows from the case file. It also says that the retailer has already filed a cassation appeal with the Economic Disputes Board of the Supreme Court, but whether it will be accepted is not yet known. Given the previous decisions, the prospects for the annulment of judicial acts in the Supreme Court are not high, Andrey Kriulin, head of the practice of judicial work at the law firm Central District, believes.
Inquiries to H&M and Dream Island went unanswered.
