The costume of Anna Linnikova representing Russia at the 71st Miss Universe beauty pageant was not created in cooperation with the State Hermitage Museum, reported in the museum. “Miss Russia-2022” came out to the semifinals of a beauty pageant held in the United States.
Previously reportedthat the dress “Crown of the Russian Empire” is part of a new collection called “Hermitage”.
“When creating the Crown of the Russian Empire dress, the author could indeed be inspired by the atmosphere of the Winter Palace, the luxury of imperial balls and ceremonial receptions, but the costume and the collection, of which it is a part, were not created in cooperation with the State Hermitage,” the museum reports.
A burgundy velvet dress embroidered with pearls was called the “Crown of the Russian Empire”. Olga Malyarova, a St. Petersburg designer and graduate of the Costume Design Institute of St. Petersburg GUPTD, worked on it.
Anna Linnikova is 22 years old, she was born in Orenburg. She received title “Miss Russia-2022” July 25, 2022.
From 12 to 14 January in New Orleans (USA) is the 71st beauty pageant “Miss Universe”. Representatives of 86 countries participate in it, from Russia – 22-year-old Anna Linnikova.
