Helix has installed 30 labomats in St. Petersburg – vending machines that allow contactless testing, said Daria Goryakina, deputy general director of the company. According to her, the company’s total costs for this amounted to 80 million rubles. By the end of 2025, she plans to increase the number of such devices to 3000, they should appear in all major Russian cities. In this case, investments in the project, according to Goryakina, will be at the level of 5 billion rubles. Helix intends to recoup them within three years.
1,900 analyzes based on urine, feces and saliva samples, including a test for antibodies to coronavirus, can be passed through laboratory machines, says Yuriy Andreychuk, CEO of Helix. To donate blood, you will still need to visit the treatment room. Samples handed over through vending machines are delivered by couriers to the laboratory every two hours. Due to this, the term for obtaining results will be halved, a company representative promises.
