Hearings on the case of the FTX crypto exchange began in the United States

In the US Congress began the first hearing on business collapsed FTX cryptocurrency exchange. A few months ago, Mr. Binam actively advocated for the CFTC to deal with the regulation of the cryptocurrency market, which was also insisted on by the founder of the FTX Group, Sam Bankman-Fried.

Among them are committee leaders Debbie Staebnow and John Boozman, who each received $23,200 from FTX. It was they, together with Mr. Binam, who in August submitted for consideration a bill on the transfer of powers to regulate the cryptocurrency market to the CFTC.
It was previously reported that Sam Bankman-Fried became the sixth-largest donor of funds to the Democratic Party, donating more than $40 million to various candidates representing the party.
