HeadHunter President Mikhail Zhukov died at the age of 56, the company’s press service reported. Mr. Zhukov served as CEO of HeadHunter from 2008 to 2022, and in March 2023 became president of the company.
“For HeadHunter and our employees, Mikhail’s passing is an irreparable, untimely loss; we offer our condolences to all his family and friends,” the company said in a statement. The date and place of farewell to Mr. Zhukov will be announced later.
HeadHunter is the largest recruiting company in Russia. Based on the results of January-September 2023, HeadHunter’s net profit increased almost six times compared to the same period in 2022 and amounted to 9.3 billion rubles. The company’s total revenue for the nine months of last year increased by more than 1.5 times, to 21 billion rubles.
