Great Britain topped the rating of investment attractiveness for financial projects – Kommersant

Auditing and consulting company EY has compiled another rating of the attractiveness of European countries for foreign investment (FDI) in financial projects. As noted Bloomberg citing the results of the study, the United Kingdom took first place, attracting foreign investment in 76 financial services projects last year – this is 26% of all FDI in such projects that came to Europe last year. Most of all, the United States invested in British financial projects last year – 21 projects.
France was in second place in terms of the number of FDIs in financial projects (45 projects), while Germany and Spain shared third place (31 projects each). EY notes that the growth of FDI in financial projects in the UK (by 17%) was shown even against the backdrop of a difficult economic situation. At the same time, in France last year the number of FDI in financial projects decreased by 25%.
