Gogol Center announced the launch online platforms, with which viewers can find information about upcoming performances and events around the world, as well as find out where to buy tickets. The launch of the online platform is timed to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the opening of the center.
The Telegram channel of the Gogol Center notes that an online cinema will open on this platform in the near future. Users will be able to purchase tickets and watch some of the center’s performances on record. In particular, the authors promise to post recordings of such performances as “Dead Souls”, “Who Lives Well in Rus'”, “An Ordinary Story” and “Little Tragedies”.
Also today, February 2, the platform will show a recording of a concert dedicated to the center’s eighth anniversary. The prologue to it will be the appeal of Kirill Serebrennikov, the head of the Gogol Center.
In June 2020, the court in the Seventh Studio case sentenced Kirill Serebrennikov to three years probation for fraud. March 28, 2022 Khamovnichesky Court of Moscow canceled decision on conditional condemnation of the director, and also removed his criminal record. On March 29, Mr. Serebrennikov left Russia.
