Clothing brand Gloria Jeans has won a tender to open a store in the Actor Gallery business center at the corner of Tverskaya Street and Pushkinskaya Square in Moscow. The store will open in the spring. Previously, the H&M flagship store was located there.
The information was confirmed by Gloria Jeans and the deal consultant NF Group. “The opening of a store in Akter Gallery will help Gloria Jeans, which is already the leader in its segment, to qualitatively increase its customer audience, and its location on the central shopping street of the city will provide additional marketing potential for brand recognition,” said Street Director -retail NF Group Irina Kozina “Kommersant”.
Clothing retailer H&M has announced a decision to gradually cease operations on the Russian market in July 2022. In autumn, the company gradually closed all its stores in Russia, the flagship store in Akter Gallery closed on November 30th. Due to the departure from Russia, the annual profit of H&M fell by 68%.
