Gloria Jeans confirms that hackers stole data from 3 million users from the company’s website

Gloria Jeans has notified Roskomnadzor of a data breach of more than 3 million users of a fashion website. Kommersant was informed about this in the press service of the company. Previously, Gloria Jeans data, as well as Auchan and Your Home, were in the public domain.
“According to preliminary information, these parts of the users were stolen during technical work related to the site,” said a representative of Gloria Jeans. “We apologize to everyone who this situation could cause inconvenience.”
The press service also emphasized that the company has taken additional measures to ensure security for site users.
“It’s very frustrating for us to be among the dozens of large companies whose user data has been hacked lately,” a spokesman for Gloria Jeans said.
The client bases of the Auchan and Your Home hypermarkets, as well as the Gloria Jeans chains, containing names, phone numbers and delivery addresses, were posted by a hacker who leaked Sberbank data earlier. Researchers believe that a vulnerability in the system for creating web projects from the 1C-Bitrix developer could become an entry point for an attacker.
