Gilles Lellouche lends himself to the game of an interview without filter

This new magazine is the television adaptation from Journal the Papotin, created in 1990 by Driss El Kesri, educator at the Antony day hospital. It now has 53 journalists with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) gathered around the psychologist Julien Bancilhon, who works as editor and intervenes here as moderator. The directors Éric Toledano, vice-president of the Académie des César, and Olivier Nakache, are at the origin of this generous, original and convivial idea: “We met with the editorial staff of Papotin after the media marathon caused by the release of the film Intouchables. The originality of their questions and the freshness of their looks overwhelmed us. We always thought there was material for a great show.”explains the two acolytes, creator of the excellent series In Therapy on art.

A few days before his 50th birthday, Gilles Lellouche, the first TV guest, faces around forty journalists. Before him, Jean-Jacques Goldman, Jacques Chirac, Barbara, Valérie Lemercier, Vincent Cassel and Carla Bruni had lent themselves to these extraordinary interviews. Eight 40-minute numbers have already been recorded for France 2. Produced by Clément Chovin and Tristan Carné, they will be released throughout the season. The magazine “Papotin meetings» also gives autistic people the opportunity to express themselves artistically, in song, poem or on the piano.
