German Bosch puts its headquarters in Khimki up for sale – Kommersant

The German manufacturer of household appliances Bosch began looking for a buyer for its headquarters on Vashutinskoye Highway in Khimki near Moscow, they reported RBC three real estate consultants. The company is negotiating with bidders, but a buyer has not yet been found.

The press service of the Russian office of Bosch reported that they are considering various options for using the building, taking into account the need to adapt the business; a final decision has not yet been made.

According to RBC sources, the headquarters is now empty. The building has an area of ​​59 thousand square meters. m was built in 2014 for 700 company employees in Russia and coordination of the group’s activities in the country. About €100 million was invested in the construction.

In March 2022, Bosch announced it was suspending operations in Russia “due to indications that its parts may have been used for non-civilian purposes.” In April 2023, S8 Capital holding I bought Russian assets of Bosch in Engels.
