Gazprom is starting to build a bridge that will connect the western and eastern parts of the Russian gas transmission system, said the head of the company, Alexei Miller, during a speech at the Russian Energy Week forum at the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall. The projects “Power of Siberia-2” and “Soyuz-Vostok” are at the stage of development of design and estimate documentation, reports his words Interfax.
On August 31, Mr. Miller announced that “in the very near future” Gazprom will start connecting the gas transmission system of the European part of Russia with the eastern infrastructure.
