Gazprom Transgaz Tomsk, which is owned by Gazprom (MOEX: GAZP), completed repairs on the gas pipeline section from the onshore technological complex (BTK) “Kirinskoye” to the main compressor station (GCS) “Sakhalin” with a length of 139 km. This was stated in a message on website companies.
The defective section of the gas pipeline was discovered during diagnostics in July. More than 50 specialists were involved in its restoration; work, as stated in the press service, went on around the clock.
“Work on the BTK Kirinskoye-GCS Sakhalin gas pipeline took place during its annual scheduled shutdown. Despite the prolonged rain and strong wind, the gas workers coped with the task,” the press service quotes the director of the Sakhalin Linear Production Directorate of Trunk Pipelines, Sergei Sheshukov.
The Sakhalin-3 project unites three licensed areas of hydrocarbon raw materials: Kirinsky, Ayashsky and Vostochno-Odoptinsky. Sakhalin-3 gas is the main resource base for the Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok gas transportation system.
