Gazprom Neft processed a record volume of oil in 2022

In 2022, Gazprom Neft PJSC processed 41 million tons of crude product, said Oleg Vedernikov, Director of the Oil and Gas Processing Directorate of PJSC. For the company, this figure was a record.
“We plan that in 2023 all our refineries will operate at the technological maximum, and it is important to note here that with the same capacity of our refineries, we will be able to provide the market with more products thanks to the implemented projects to increase efficiency and refining depth,” said Mr. Vedernikov ( an excerpt from the material of the magazine “Gazprom” TASS).
He also stressed that the company’s jet fuel output remained virtually unchanged compared to 2021. “During the pandemic, the situation was much more complicated,” Mr. Vedernikov said. According to him, digital production planning systems, among other things, allow adapting the grocery basket.
Since February 5, the EU and the G7 countries have become apply price ceiling for Russian oil products. Gasoline and diesel over $100 per barrel are prohibited from being transported by sea. For some other types of fuel, the limit is set at $45 per barrel. The measure has not yet affected the volume of oil refining in Russia.
