Gazprom Neft intends to keep refining at 2022 levels in 2023

General Director of Gazprom Neft (95.68% owned by Gazprom; MOEX: GAZP) Alexander Dyukov said that, according to the company’s forecasts for 2023, oil refining volumes will remain at the 2022 level. At the same time, Mr. Dyukov made minor deviations from last year’s figures.
Answering a question on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week forum about the projected volume of oil refining, Mr. Dyukov said: “It (refining.— “Ъ”) will correspond to last year’s processing. If there are deviations, they will be minor. As for motor fuels, their production volume has even increased.” The words of the head of Gazprom Neft are quoted “Prime”.
In 2022, Gazprom Neft reworked more than 41 million tons of oil. This figure was a record in the history of the company. Based on the results of the first half of 2023, the net profit of Gazprom Neft according to IFRS in the first half of the year decreased by 40.1% compared to the same period in 2022, to RUB 304.413 billion.
