Gazprom Neft agreed with Uzbekistan on assistance in drilling wells

Gazprom Neft will help optimize the processes of drilling wells in the fields of Uzbekistan. The corresponding agreement within the framework of the “Russian Energy Week” forum, the company signed with Uzbekneftegaz JSC. It is expected that cooperation with Gazprom Neft will allow Uzbekneftegaz to reduce well construction time by more than 20%.
The agreement stipulates that for the construction and operation of wells at the fields of Uzbekneftegaz, the operator of the Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz project will develop a set of engineering approaches and solutions. It involves technological supervision of drilling, audit of drilling equipment, as well as the development of recommendations for changing the design of wells and selection of the optimal formulation of drilling fluids.
Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz is a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft. The company produces oil and gas at 37 fields in the Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug. The total area of the territory where Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz operates exceeds 47.5 thousand square meters. m.
