The Ministry of Industry and Trade has developed project government decrees on the sale of a 100% share of the subordinated FSUE NAMI in Shushary-Avto LLC, to which the former assets of the Russian automobile plant were transferred to the Japanese Toyota. The project was developed on behalf of the head of the ministry Denis Manturov. Public discussion of the project should end on June 21.
The press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade clarified to Interfax that the share will be sold to the Almaz-Antey concern, which plans to launch the production of trucks and the E-Neva electric crossover at the site of the automobile plant in St. Petersburg by 2026.
“The adoption of the provisions of the draft resolution will provide an accelerated solution to the issue of loading the production capacities of Shushary-Avto LLC, which, as a result, will contribute to the achievement of target indicators of the Strategy for the Development of the Automotive Industry of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2035,” the explanatory note says. note to the project.
Kommersant-SPb wrote in May that Obukhov Plant JSC, which is part of the Almaz-Antey concern, plans to acquire ownership of former Toyota assets in Russia. “In January, Shushary-Avto was established, it is a subsidiary of NAMI. The general director of the Obukhov plant, Mikhail Podvyaznikov, said that the organization of financing projects for the production of cars at the former site of the Japanese auto concern is connected with the transfer of ownership. According to him, the cost of organizing production is estimated at 35-37 billion rubles.
