A new scam involving phishing attacks is spreading online. Criminals send push notifications to confirm passport data via a link leading to the website of the alleged operator, and then to the State Services portal, where you need to enter your login and password for your personal account. Thanks to this, scammers receive both access data to “State Services” and information about the subscriber.

The authors of the Telegram channel True OSINT (Open Source Intelligence) drew attention to a new scheme to deceive users. According to them, phishing sites masquerading as large telecom operators began to appear. Kommersant found a similar resource pretending to be MTS. It was blocked by the evening of March 22.

Alexander Vurasko, head of the Solar AURA external digital threat monitoring service at Solar Group of Companies, confirmed that there has been an increase in phishing attacks “allegedly on behalf of operators.” Experts warn it is also dangerous for operators because it reduces trust in official communications.

Details – in the material “Kommersant” “Fraudsters are sneaking into State Services”.
