Former Deutsche Bank chief executive Anshu Jain dies

Anshu Jain, an Indian-born investment banker who served as chief executive of Deutsche Bank from 2012 to 2015, died last night after a long battle with cancer. Reports about it CNBC with reference to the banker’s family. Mr. Jain was 59 years old.
“We are grateful to the many people who have cared for Anshu throughout his life. For us, his legacy is perseverance, honor and love,” the banker’s family said in a statement.
Mr. Jain left his position at Deutsche Bank before the expiration of the contract, after the bank faced a number of regulatory problems. Most recently, Anshu Jain served as president of Cantor Fitzgerald.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, he worked for several financial firms including Merrill Lynch. Jain also served as an advisor to fintech company SoFi from 2016 to 2017 and was a trustee of the UK-based charity Chance to Shine.
