Former bass guitarist of the Russian pop-rock band Bravo Sergei Lapin died at the age of 62. This is stated in message musical group on the social network VKontakte.
“He was a wonderful person and musician, and we will remember him that way. The group expresses condolences to the musician’s family and loved ones,” the message says. The cause of Sergei Lapin’s death, as well as the date and place of farewell to the musician, have not yet been specified.
The guitarist was a member of the group from 1988-1993. During this time, in particular, he took part in the creation of two Bravo albums – “Let’s say Bravo to each other” (1988) and “Hipsters from Moscow” (1990). The Bravo group notes that Sergei Lapin, during his work in the team, “brought many interesting ideas regarding the image and style of the group.”
