Boksitogorsky Timber Processing Plant LLC has become the new owner of the Russian business of OBI GmbH, which has been owned by entrepreneur Josef Liokumovich since August 5. The Russian edition of Forbes also cites an excerpt from an interview with Josef Liokumovich, in which the entrepreneur clarified that he has a partner in the OBI business. “He is not a public person. I can only say that this is an honest partner with whom I want to go further,” the entrepreneur said in August.
In August Josef Liokumovich received a controlling stake in the Russian business of OBI (60% of the company) – according to him, the company’s shares cost him 600 rubles. The German OBI GmH announced the suspension of work in Russia on March 17, and on April 12, the parent company of the network transferred the Russian business to trust management.
