five animation series not to be missed this fall

Back-to-school time has come for youth programs. Channels and platforms welcome new heroes or offer new seasons that will accompany children this season. The opportunity to list 5 animation series that are worth seeing.

1 – Edmund and Lucy (from September 3, at 9:15 a.m., on France 5)

Previewed on the app Okoothis new animated series for 3-6 year olds arrives today on France 5. Adapted from the album collection Edmond and his friends, by Astrid Desbordes and Marc Boutavant, it features Edmond the squirrel and Lucy the bear cub. These two characters were raised as brother and sister and live together in a beautiful chestnut tree. Their adventures, which involve their family and friends, lead them to discover the surrounding forest. If these 52 episodes advocate respect for nature, their production is also part of the same eco-responsible approach (one of the software used makes it possible to reduce energy consumption for the calculation of 3D images). Three expert naturalists also collaborated in writing these adventures.

2 – Spidey and his amazing friends (from this weekend, at 8 a.m., on Gulli)

Already seen on Disney junior, this production Marvel lands in clear on Gulli. We discover the adventures of Spiderman and his friends, in young version. Tony Parker, alias Spidey, accompanied by Gwen Tracy/ Ghost-spider and Miles Morales/ Spin form the Spidey team. Together, they embark on adventures that aim to save the world. And when their powers aren’t enough, an Avenger can come to help! First airing in 2021, the anime series already has two seasons and has just been renewed for a third.

3 – Cars: On the roadavailable from September 8 Disney +

After three feature films, Cars is available as an animated series. Martin has to go to his sister’s wedding and Lightning McQueen decides to go with him. A road trip across the United States follows, where each day a new adventure awaits them. A series of 9 episodes, created by the animation studios Pixar which will delight fans of this franchise.

4 – The Adventures of Paddington (Monday to Friday, at 8:25 a.m., on M6)

The famous teddy bear is the hero of new adventures for 4-6 year olds. These fifty-two 5-minute episodes are an opportunity for Paddington to take on new challenges, sometimes with charming awkwardness, but always alongside the Brown family and the other inhabitants of their London neighborhood. This new season 2 welcomes new characters, such as Baaz, a recycler inventor, or his hearing-impaired niece Simi. There is also Dr. Yasmin and his daughter Toq, new neighbors. To note that Guillaume Gallienne continues to lend its voice to the hero imagined by the British writer Michael Bond in 1958.

5 – Mighty express, soon on TF1

Created by Keith Chapman (to whom we already owe Paw Patrol, the Paw Patrol ), mighty express focuses on the world of locomotives. In Rail-Ville, trains (Nate the fast, Milo the mechanic…) and their friends (the children Lisa, Max and Nico) ensure rather unexpected deliveries: star pigs, a dinosaur bone, a baby octopus… A date you which mixes adventure and comedy for an audience aged 3 to 6 years.
