The Rixain law of 2019 obliges large companies to indicate the share of women in their management.

If, in this new school year marked by labor shortages and threats of power cuts, professional equality between women and men is no longer one of the primary concerns of entrepreneurs, it remains a priority for Macron’s second five-year term. Since this Thursday 1er September, companies with at least 1,000 employees are indeed required to publish on their website the gender distribution – including the proportion of men and women – of their governing bodies and among their managers.

This measure is part of the Rixain law of December 24, 2021, which aims to accelerate the participation of women in economic and professional life. Article 14 of this text provides for a quota of representation of each sex in governance bodies, which companies must prepare for. The goal is to reach at least 30% of women in the 1er March 2026 and 40% on 1er March 2029. If companies fail to meet these targets…
