First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov re-elected head of the board of directors of Russian Railways

The Board of Directors of Russian Railways has re-elected Andrey Belousov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, to the post of chairman. According to the press service of the holding, Mr. Belousov will hold this post “during the next corporate year.”
In Russian Railways reportedthat today, July 24, the first in-person meeting of the renewed board of directors of the state-owned company took place. At it, it was decided to re-elect Andrei Belousov as head of the board of directors (he has been holding this position since 2020). In addition to Mr. Belousov, the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin.
The press service of Russian Railways added that during the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko was elected head of the committee for digital transformation and innovative development of the board of directors of Russian Railways, and the head of the Ministry of Economy Maxim Reshetnikov became head of the strategic planning committee of the board of directors.
At the same time, the composition of the board of directors of the company did not change, the following were re-elected: the head of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov, Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Belousov, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation Irina Okladnikova, Minister of Economy Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Vitaly Savelyev, Minister of Construction of the Russian Federation Irek Faizullin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sovcomflot Sergey Frank and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko. The Board also includes ex-Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Stepashin and Rector of the RANEPA Alexei Komissarov as independent directors.
