Cypriot Iolyco Investments sold Kidburg, which manages the network of children’s “cities of professions” of the same name, to OBMK Invest. The transaction, according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, was closed on February 9. Iolyco Investments was 40% owned by Finnish investment fund CapMan II. Other owners of the Cypriot company, market participants considered the founders of the network, including Oksana Orlova and Vitaly Mantsev. It is they, together with the general director of Kidburg, Elvira Krylova, who own OBMK Invest. Krylova did not respond to a request. According to a CapMan II spokesman, the company no longer manages the fund that invested in Kidburg and has no information about the owners of Kidburg. A spokesman for Kidburg declined to comment, saying he had no information. It was not possible to contact Orlova and Mantsev.

Kidburg was established in 2011. And three years later, CapMan II invested in the company (among its investors, in particular, Finnish pension funds). At that time, Kidburg managed only two facilities and was preparing to open another point in the Central Children’s Store on Lubyanka. At the end of 2022, the network already included 12 children’s centers, including one in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, according to the company’s website. It also says that it is planned to open another Kidburg in Magnitogorsk. According to SPARK-Interfax, the network’s revenue in 2021 amounted to 482 million rubles, and net profit – 10.4 million rubles.
