Most of the employees of the Russian film distribution division of Disney have been fired. The company is closing its office in Russia, reports “Film Distributor’s Bulletin”.
According to the publication, the rest of the Russian employees of the Disney film division will move from the Moscow office on Stanislavsky Street to the main Russian Disney office in the Lotte Plaza business center. There, they will complete the necessary work before the complete shutdown of the company’s activities in Russia.
Disney communicates with counterparties from the CIS directly through the company’s US office, the newspaper reports.
Disney suspended work in Russia on March 11. According to BK, the company’s Russian website stopped working in October and Disney’s Russian-language social media accounts became inaccessible.
