Businessman Felix Yevtushenkov, who fell under the personal sanctions of the UK, resigned from the board of directors of Ozon on April 11, the company’s press service said.

“Ozon Holdings PLC announces that Felix Yevtushenkov has stepped down from the Board of Directors of Ozon effective April 11, 2023 due to the imposition of personal sanctions against him by the UK. This position will remain vacant in the near future.

The company stressed that Ozon and its subsidiaries are not currently under sanctions from the EU, US, UK or any other jurisdictions.

On April 12, the UK expanded the list of sanctions against Russia. The restrictions affected the daughter of Russian businessman Suleiman Kerimov Gulnara Kerimova, the family of businessman Vladimir Yevtushenkov: his wife Natalia, son Felix and daughter Tatyana, the Russian holding USM of businessman Alisher Usmanov, co-owners of USM Vladimir and Varvara Skoch, wife of Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvechuk Oksana Marchenko and others.

In total, the country’s sanctions list now includes 1,559 individuals and 184 legal entities. In addition to the UK, individual sanctions against Russians and Russian organizations have also been introduced by the United States, the EU and other countries. Moscow considers restrictions against Russia illegitimate.
