The FAS wants to form liquid national price indices for oil and petrochemical products through the development of exchange trading and registration of over-the-counter transactions. This is stated in the draft roadmap for the development of exchange trading for 2022–2025. (Vedomosti has it), the developer of which is the service.
The document notes that in order to develop “representative national indices”, it is necessary to expand the list of information provided to the SPIMEX exchange on over-the-counter oil supply contracts and thereby accumulate more data on such contracts.
