Some vertically integrated oil companies do not fully comply with recommendations for fuel supplies to the domestic market, the press service of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) reported. Taking into account the growing demand for gasoline, the FAS recalled responsibility for non-compliance with supply volume criteria.
“The Russian Ministry of Energy communicates monthly to oil companies recommendations on additional supplies of fuel to the domestic market, including for sale on the stock exchange. However, at present, a number of companies do not comply with them in full, which may lead to violation of the criteria for the regularity and uniformity of fuel sales at exchange trading,” says the FAS press service in a statement (available to Kommersant). The issue will be discussed at a meeting of the Ministry of Energy headquarters.
