The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (FAS) opened a case against Unikosmetik LLC. The company producing Estel products will be checked for unfair competition.
FAS reported, that they received a complaint from IFB LLC about a violation of antimonopoly legislation by Unicosmetic. In its appeal, IFB (manufacturer of hair products under the Kapous brand) points out that Unicosmetik violates generally accepted competition norms. Since 2017, both brands have simultaneously promoted products on the market under the designation Blond Bar. In 2021, Estel manufacturers registered the Blond Bar couture trademark, after which they demanded that the IFB stop using the controversial designation. The FAS will check the activities of the Unicosmetic company for violations of the law on protection of competition.
FAS September 12 excited case regarding the organization of a cartel in the social services segment of Moscow. Thus, the department found signs of collusion between AST Service LLC and Vesta LLC, which supplied products to hospitals and other social institutions.
