September 14 mobile operator MTS announced increase in the cost of a number of tariffs. From September 28, the operator increases the cost by 10–12%. The Federal Antimonopoly Service drew attention to this situation. Amid consumer complaints about increasing costs of services, it began check regarding MTS. Analysts believe that all operators will increase the cost of services.
In 2022, the FAS has already canceled the tariff increases of the Big Four. Then the Moscow Arbitration Court did not support the claims of Megafon and MTS, which tried to appeal the fines imposed by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).
