As Kommersant was told in the regional antimonopoly department, a case of violation of antimonopoly law against OOO LUKOIL-Uralnefteprodukt was initiated due to complaints from citizens about the increase in retail prices for gasoline AI-92, AI-95 at gas stations owned by the company.
“During the consideration of the case, the requested information, including on the financial and economic activities of the company, was presented in full and taken into account by the antimonopoly authority when making a decision to recognize the fact of a violation, expressed in the establishment of a monopoly high price for motor gasoline AI-92, AI- 95 at gas stations in the Kirov region, which led to the infringement of the interests of an indefinite number of consumers, ”the regional OFAS reported.
According to the department, for this violation of Art. 14.31 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation provides for administrative liability in the form of an administrative fine for officials in the amount of 15 thousand to 20 thousand rubles; for legal entities – from 300 thousand to 1 million rubles. “The case materials have been handed over to an authorized person to initiate administrative cases,” the OFAS emphasized.
