The famous Soviet composer Alexei Muravlev died on Saturday in Moscow.
As it became known to MK, Muravlev died at the age of 99. He died in the morning in his apartment in Gazetny Lane. Alexey Muravlev is an Honored Art Worker, a member of the Union of Composers and the Union of Cinematographers. Laureate of the Stalin Prize II degree – he received it in 1950 for the symphony-ballad “Azov-mountain”. He composed music for more than 40 films, the most famous of which is Vasily and Vasilisa.
