The great Russian artist Viktor Umnov died in Moscow, informs iz.ru.
According to the source, on the morning of December 23, Umnov’s body was found in his Moscow apartment, located on Baku Komissarov Street. Viktor Umnov was 92 years old. The causes of death were not specified.
Viktor Umnov was a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR for many years, worked in the Studio of Advertising, Applied and Industrial Graphics, and since the late 1980s, the artist’s works began to be shown at exhibitions of easel art.
Umnov’s paintings can be seen in such iconic places as the Russian Museum and the Tretyakov Gallery, as well as in many other Russian museums. In addition, Viktor Umnov’s works are in the collections of American and French art galleries.
The day before, the leader of the Dances Minus group, Vyacheslav Petkun, announced the death of guitarist Anton Khabibulin. The musician was 44 years old. During his career, Khabibulin took part in such musical projects as “Dancing Minus”, “Moral Code” and “SBHR”.
