Fabrice Luchini sets the tone on Radio Classique. From September 3, every Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., the actor will read to listeners fond of Beethoven and Chopin. For four hours on the air, the program entitled “Des livres et des notes” will be dedicated to texts by writers and philosophers around classical music, the favorite field of radio.
A new desire born from confinement
The actor, known for his unique diction, was invited this Monday morning to his home radio to discuss this new meeting between music and literature. “When you hear Cioran talk about the difference between Bach and Mozart, when he says that Bach is not talking about paradise, but about entering paradise, whereas Mozart comes from paradise, it’s extraordinary”explains Fabrice Luchini at the microphone of Guillaume Durand. The actor is about to swap the boards for the airwaves in order to share “the beauty of music as seen by great authors”as the radio statement said.

A new challenge for the Caesarized Frenchman, born during confinement. Deprived of theater due to the Covid-19 health crisis, Fabrice Luchini took to Instagram to spread his taste for reading. “For two and a half years, I had to work and discipline myself so as not to go crazy”he says before concluding, “Some people have told me that it has helped them”. A surprise for the actor who never ceases to proclaim his love for the great texts of “Baudelaire, Pascal, La Fontaine”. This passion, Fabrice Luchini will share it with all Radio Classique music lovers next Saturday. “A suspended moment to take stock of the genius of classical music composers”summarizes the laudatory press release.
