Moscow companies will present their products on the marketplaces of Turkey and South Africa. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of the capital Natalya Sergunina, the press service of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of Moscow reports.
The goods will be placed on the Turkish marketplace Trendyol and South African takealot.com. Online retailers sell electronics, clothing, textiles, and food with a long shelf life.
Also, Moscow manufacturers will once again present food products on the Chinese online platform WeChat. The department recalled that last year companies had already entered the Chinese market with lemonades, sweets, cereals and snacks.
“Until the end of the year, 100 companies will receive support when entering these sites. The city will finance the creation, design and promotion of product cards, as well as the delivery of a trial batch,” Sergunina said.
It also continues to accept applications from manufacturers in other areas, including India, Iran and Latin America, she said.
The program of the Moscow Export Center (MEC) includes more than 30 services for exporters, including participation in international exhibitions and promotion through foreign marketplaces. The press service of the department noted that since the beginning of 2023, more than 150 companies have signed contracts for the supply of goods to friendly countries, more than a third of them entered the international market for the first time.
