Exchange prices for LPG reached a two-year high

prices for liquefied petroleum gases (LPG; propane and butane), used in Russia mainly as motor fuel, have reached their maximum since November 2021. This follows from trading data on the St. Petersburg International Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (SPIMEX).
On November 10, 1 ton of LPG in the Urals and Siberia (the most liquid stock exchange index) cost 33,029 rubles. – 5.4% more expensive than the day before. Over the week, quotes increased by 10.8%, since the beginning of the year – 6 times. In the European part of the country, LPG prices rose to 37,560 rubles/t on November 10. The growth was 1% by November 9, 12.3% over the last week and 4.7 times since the beginning of the year.
