Exchange quotations of petroleum products began to rise yesterday, March 12, against the backdrop of a drone attack on the Nizhny Novgorod oil refinery of LUKOIL and a fire at an oil storage facility in the Oryol region. The largest of four primary processing units was shut down due to a fire at the refinery. Its capacity is 25 thousand tons of oil per day, or 53% of the total primary refining capacity of the Nizhny Novgorod Refinery. The Ministry of Energy and LUKOIL did not comment on the situation. Today, March 13, due to a drone attack there was stopped work of the Novoshakhtinsky Refinery in the Rostov Region and the Refinery in the Ryazan Region.
