President of the St. Petersburg International Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (SPIMEX) Alexey Rybnikov is leaving his post, reported Interfax with reference to sources. According to them, a change in leadership will be announced in the coming days.
According to the agency, the exchange will be headed by Igor Artemyev. From 2004 to 2020, he headed the Federal Antimonopoly Service. Afterwards he was appointed assistant to the prime minister.
Alexey Rybnikov has headed SPbMTSB since September 2011. Before that, he served as CEO of the RSX trading system (from 2009 to 2011). He also worked as senior vice president of the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange.
