According to a study by the Sravni marketplace and the VSK insurance house, 42% of Russians do not believe that 2023 will be less risky than 2022. 39% expect more risks, 18% less. Every fifth respondent is ready to spend more than 50 thousand rubles on insurance services.
Among the most relevant risks for 2023, the respondents named the following risks:
related to health (illness, injury) – 51%
deprivation of a source of income (work, investment) – 19%
related to the car (increase in the cost of repairs and spare parts) – 14%
for loan products (inability to repay a loan) – 8%
sports (injury during training or competitions) – 4%
related to property (changes in the situation on the real estate market) – 3%.
In 2022, 26% of Russians faced risks. This year, 47% of survey participants intend to insure their lives and health, 31% will issue or renew CMTPL policies for a car, 3% of respondents will issue CASCO. 16% will insure property, 3% will buy insurance for traveling abroad.
Every second Russian is ready to spend up to 5,000 rubles on insurance, every third – from 5,000 to 10,000. 53% of respondents said they prefer to take out insurance online. 31% turn to insurance agents, 16% – to sales offices.
The study was conducted in December 2022, exact dates are not given. More than 1 thousand respondents took part in it.
